Emphasis on patient and caregiver support and education at Geisinger Medical Center/Danville
I had the opportunity to attend a CME event at Geisinger Medical Center/Danville organized by Paradigm Medical Communications. Thank you to Geisinger Medical Center for your continued support and education for patients/families as well as your dedicated providers! Dr. Kevin R. Flaherty, Professor of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care, University of Michigan, presented on “Progress in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Strategies to Speed Detection and Slow Progression”. I appreciate his emphasis on the importance of support groups and education for patients and their families.
