Coopersburg VIRTUAL 5K Run for Pulmonary Fibrosis: THANK YOU!
We will forge on amidst any challenges as our patients and families forge on everyday…we will do the same. We know this very deeply. From Friday, May 1-Sunday, May 31, Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis transitioned our IPF community awareness (for the past 14 years) event to the Coopersburg VIRTUAL 5K for Pulmonary Fibrosis 2020. It was a huge success and our mission had been accomplished!
- 212 participants
- 12 teams
- Expanded our outreach from Pennsylvania to New Jersey, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California and Oregon
- Ran and walked 651.2 miles in raising awareness for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Through these difficult times, we strive to find a silver lining, and I believe we did just that. Throughout the month of May 2021, we will be integrating our VIRTUAL platform in raising awareness and educating the public with our face to face event on Saturday, May 29, 2021. We are looking forward to continuing to expand our outreach far and wide.
